Comments: For a trip during the weather unit, teachers could take the class to a local area and have the students figure out how weather has effected the way the people live, what clothes they wear, architecture, and the food the people eat. In some areas of the country, architecture, for example,is very indicative of the weather. Inquiry method could be used so that the students could look around and try to figure out what aspects show the type of weather they experience. Students may not realize that much of how they live is determined by the weather. Thanks! Bethany
