Comments: I conclude my weather unit by setting up a fieldtrip to our local television station and having a tour and interview with our own "weather reporter".She discusses the technologogy she uses to make her predictions and uses on camera to make her report. The students LOVE this field trip and it helps make the real world/classroom connection.(she even discusses the higher level education choices available in this area)
